Since its inception, ITCAN has acted on its duties and obligations in a socially responsible manner, showing an ongoing concern for and contribution to the community wellbeing.

 

Over the past years, ITCAN has been providing financial and non-financial support to various initiatives related to the individual, community, and environment. However, as we witness today the need for social realization of this changing world, ITCAN Cares was launched and designed to engage its staff in all the charitable work to create a force for good in this world.

LAUNCH

At ITCAN Solutions, our values emphasize integrity, diversity, and teamwork. ITCAN has also recognized the importance of cultivating our community-focused values. Hence, ITCAN Solutions launched ITCAN Cares as a philanthropic initiative in 2017. By fostering the mindset of contributing to society's needs, our day-to-day lives will be improved. This also endorses altruism among the team as they work towards a shared goal instilling a sense of pride in themselves. ITCAN Cares has indeed become ingrained in our corporate culture. 

A humble contribution to help during the hardest of times.

  • The ongoing Lebanese economic crisis, that was further exacerbated due to COVID-19, made everything worse, urging the emergence of such charitable initiatives.

    Here’s a glimpse of the most recent philanthropic activity by ITCAN Solutions in September 2019, resulting in giving back to more than 150 underprivileged families.

Helping families in need in our hometown.

  • Ramadan has always been the month of giving.. and this Ramadan it was not going to be any different. We were able to draw smiles on children’s faces and their parents by giving them the joy of new toys, Eid clothes, food supplies and covering their urgent expenses.

    We also covered the medical fees of many Lebanese families struggling to afford their medications.

Education – an investment for our children's future.

  • With Lebanon's inflation woes hitting schools and universities, parents have been struggling to afford tuition fees, thus forcing their children to drop out.

    It is an ethical obligation for us, ITCAN Cares, to help save the education of others in need. We, therefore, have been visiting schools and clearing students’ remaining balances.
